The main alloying elements of 5052 series aluminum plate are magnesium, and form Mg phase. If contain a particular amount of manganese, can neutralize the bad effect of iron; Sometimes alittle amount of copper or zinc is added to enhance the strength of the alloy without significantly reducing its corrosion resistance; theres also alittle amount of copper within the conductive material to offset the bad effects of titanium and iron on electrical conductivity; Zirconium or titanium can refine grain and control recrystallization structure. Lead and bismuth are added to enhance machinability.
